National IP Protocol 2016 Published
Reading time: 3 Minutes
A new protocol setting out the Irish Government’s policies on encouraging industry to make good use of public research in Ireland - Inspiring Partnership - national IP Protocol 2016 – was published by the Department of Jobs Enterprise and Innovation and Knowledge Transfer Ireland on 15 January 2016.
The protocol updates and replaces the previous protocol that was published in 2012, and is the product of extensive consultation between industry and the research community in Ireland. With the number of businesses engaging with research organisations on the increase, the protocol provides an invaluable guide to the policy and legal issues underpinning collaborative research and technology transfer in this area.
A copy of the revised protocol is available from Knowledge Transfer Ireland's website
