Enerpower Secures Investment for Expansion

Renewable energy developer, Greenvolt has acquired a majority stake in Waterford firm Enerpower.

Founded in 2005, Enerpower is base in Waterford and works for several large clients including PepsiCo, Lidl, Pfizer and Virgin Media. It also has power purchase agreements with companies such as Eli Lilly and Tesco.

Enerpower's acquirer, Greenvolt Group is a pan-European renewable energy firm with a presence in more than 15 countries.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals.

The RDJ transaction team was led by Gillian Keating (Corporate and Commercial) and included Liam O’Keeffe, Elena Vassileva, Arabella Carr (Corporate and Commercial), Antoinette Vahey (Employment), Mark Ludlow (Tax) and Diarmaid Gavin (EU and Competition).
