Linda Green-Kiely and Gillian Keating guest speakers at Dogpatch Labs

Linda Kiely, co-founder of the global success story Voxpro, and Gillian Keating, Partner at Ronan Daly Jermyn, were guest speakers at Dogpatch Labs First Fridays for Startups on 6 October, 2017.

A full house was there to hear about the journey of exponential growth Voxpro has undergone in recent years and how legal support adds value to such a journey. Linda talked about Voxpro's culture of innovation and reminded the audience of entreprenurs to always "give your staff the room to learn and grow and you will get it back in spades".

A long-standing supporter of the entrepreneur community in Ireland, Ronan Daly Jermyn launched www.rdjstartups.ie, a free online tool, at the event after identifying a need for a resource that would help entrepreneurs navigate many of the legal and organisational challenges they face as start-ups. The site, which includes access to standard legal documents, as well as helpful startup tools and legal insights, provides access to resources many startups are not yet in the position to fund.

Gillian explains, “there are so many decisions involved in setting up a new business, we wanted to provide a resource that would help emerging companies come to grips with some of these challenges.”

The site has been called a "game changer" by Declan O’Mahoney, Tech CEO and Entrepreneur in Residence at Tyndall who praised the resource which allows RDJ to “fast track the legals and streamline the process so that entrepreneurs can get on with running the business”.
