Louis Fitzgerald Group to acquire iconic Imperial Hotel Cork

RDJ advised The Imperial Hotel Cork on its proposed acquisition by The Louis Fitzgerald Group, one of the largest family-run hospitality groups in the country.

The historic 19th century property, located in the heart of Cork City, has been in the care of the Flynn family, the Flynn Hotel Collection, for 25 years. The Imperial boasts a rich history and has welcomed high profile names over the past 200 years including actress Grace Kelly, Charles Dickens, Prince Rainier of Monaco, Michael Collins, Frederick Douglas and many others. With 123 guest rooms, multiple dining options, and conference facilities, it is a popular choice for both leisure and business travellers.

The sale is subject to approval by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
