RDJ has announced the appointment of four Partners across the Firm’s banking and finance, cyber and data protection, and dispute resolution practices.

The new partners are Tomás McDonagh (Dispute Resolution), Brian Morrissey (Dispute Resolution), Jennifer Noctor (Data Protection) and Aisling O’Donovan (Banking and Finance).

Managing Partner at RDJ, Jamie Olden, commenting on the appointments, said, “I am delighted for all of our new partners on reaching this milestone in their career. Meet our new partners:

Tomás McDonagh (Litigation and Dispute Resolution)

Tomás specialises in dispute resolution and insurance. He has significant experience in defence litigation, handling a diverse portfolio of cases in all Court jurisdictions. He specialises in the conduct of litigation on behalf of insurance companies and self-insured companies and advises on employer’s liability, public liability, product liability and road traffic matters.

Brian Morrissey (Litigation and Dispute Resolution)

Brian is part of RDJ’s dispute resolution team and specialises in insurance defence litigation. He has extensive experience in this area, handling a diverse portfolio of cases primarily in the Circuit and High Court. Brian advises many insurance companies and self-insured multinational companies in the area of personal injury litigation, product liability and material damage claims.

Jennifer Noctor (Cyber Security and Data Protection)

Jennifer has extensive experience in advising RDJ’s clients in the area of cyber security and data protection in addition to complex large loss commercial and technology-based litigation. A member of the firm’s Cyber and Data Protection team, she advises companies and state bodies on a broad range of data protection and privacy issues, including data protection litigation, regulatory investigations, data subjects’ rights, in particular advising and managing large data subject access requests.

Aisling O’Donovan (Banking and Finance)

Aisling has a wide range of experience in banking-related matters. She advises several leading domestic and international banks, financial institutions and non-bank lenders in relation to bilateral and syndicated facilities. Aisling provides banking legal advice to some leading Irish corporates, property investors and developers.
