RDJ advised medical services firm, Healthcare 21 Group in its recent funding round with private equity firm, H2 Equity Partners, and subsequent acquisition of Aquilant Limited business
As part of the transaction H2 Equity Partners will become a substantial minority shareholder in the newly enlarged Healthcare 21 Group, which will continue to be led by founder directors Owen Curtin, Tara Kearney and David Frederick. Healthcare 21, Aquilant and H2 Equity Partners expect to accelerate the growth of the combined group with plans to become Europe’s largest and best-in-class provider of outsourced sales, marketing and service solutions for the new group’s suppliers and customers. The combined companies will employ more than 450 people across Ireland, the UK, Germany and Austria and position the group as a leading Healthcare distribution business in Europe.
RDJ’s deal team was led by Sean O’Reilly and Gillian Keating and included assistance from Adam Griffiths, Neil Nolan and Brendan Cunningham.
