Texas medtech firm invests in Biomimetic Innovations
RDJ advised Biomimetic Innovations Limited (“BMI”), a medical device company headquartered in Shannon on an equity investment of up to €8 million and associated licensing and distribution agreement with US company, Sanara MedTech Inc.
As part of the transaction, Sanara has secured an exclusive five-year US licence and distribution agreement with BMI for OsStic, a ground-breaking bio-adhesive bone void filter technology that allows doctors to stick broken bone tissue together following a fracture and help promote faster healing.
Biomimetic Innovations is a medical device company involved in design, development and manufacturing, that leads a consortium which is developing OsStic. The company is headquartered in Shannon, Co. Clare, Ireland, with offices in Memphis, Tennessee and Chamonix, France.
