Peter Groarke
Partner, Cork Office
Peter is a Partner, practising as part of the Healthcare Litigation team. He has extensive experience in handling complex high value claims, including professional negligence and clinical negligence and acts on behalf of a number of leading indemnifiers. Peter provides specialist advices on Inquest hearings and Professional Medical complaints to a range of healthcare clients and also represents a number of Nursing Home Facilities.
Peter has been involved in advising Statutory Bodies on the issues of Administrative Law, Child Law and Education Law in the context of children’s rights. Prior to joining RDJ, he developed a dual experience in Criminal and Family Law.
He was Former President of the Southern Law Association (2014-2015), Council Member of the Law Society of Ireland (2013 -2016) and currently sits on the Law Society Client Complaints and Relations Committee.
