Marion Meehan
Senior Associate, Galway Office
Marion is a Senior Associate, practising in the firm's Banking and Finance team. She has particular experience in the areas of syndicated financing, corporate, acquisition, property and development financing, work-outs and debt restructuring and the sale/transfer of loan books. Marion regularly acts as lead counsel in multi-jurisdictional transactions.
In 2011 Marion moved to Sydney where she joined a top Australian law firm's banking department and gained further experience acting for banks, alternative lenders and corporate borrowers in respect of both multi-jurisdictional and national syndicated and bilateral corporate, leveraged, acquisition and construction financings.
Marion joined RDJ in September 2013 when she returned from Australia and has since been involved in a number of syndicated and bilateral corporate, property and development finance transactions for both Irish and international clients. Marion has also worked closely with the firm’s insolvency department in relation to a number of debt restructurings and work outs as well as large loan sale projects including advising KPMG as special liquidators of IBRC on the sale of the significant Evergreen loan portfolio.
