Martin is a Senior Associate, practising in the firm’s Real Estate team. He has extensive experience in advising on the sale, purchase and leasing of commercial and residential properties, including houses, apartments, commercial units and development lands.
Martin has advised and acted on behalf of a wide range of clients (domestic and international clients) including companies, receivers, business partnerships in large and complex commercial and residential property transactions. He also regularly advises on the property aspects of finance and corporate transactions.
Martin has also worked with property developers, contractors and consultants on a variety of construction-related issues in respect of a number of large-scale complex projects.
Experience
- Advising Laya Healthcare Limited on various lettings as part of their swiftcare clinic and wellness clinic roll out nationwide, Martin acted in leases and sub-leases of their clinic on Ennis Road, Limerick, Briarhill Shopping Centre, Galway and recently in respect of the acquisition of Building 8 Cherrywood Business Park, Dublin 8 which is a former office premises being repurposed as a medical clinic.
- Continuously advising Riga Developments (Cork) ULC on the sale of 61 luxury apartments to individual purchasers at Opera Lane, Cork City.
- Advising Riga ULC on the sale of the balance of 99 apartments at the Lancaster Gate Development, Cork City.
- Advised Pipelife Ireland Limited on the sale of their factory premises at Templemichael, Whites Cross, County Cork.
- Advised Goldenville Limited on the sale of an EPA Licenced land (and application to remove the licence) at Little Island Cork.
- Advising Tapella Limited on the sale of strategic sites at Hoffman Business Park, Little Island, Cork.
- Advised Trigon Hotel Group on property matters relating to a recent refinance with AIB of Cork International Hotel and the Metropole Hotel.
